Terms of Use

Last updated: June 12, 2026 · Version 2.0
These terms are maintained to a professional drafting standard. The governing law and venue in section 17 are placeholders pending confirmation by counsel for each operating jurisdiction. Questions go to contact@stfox.com.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of stfox.com and its subpages, including the datasheet library (the "Site"), operated by Saint Fox Inc. ("Saint Fox", "we", "us"). By using the Site you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and "you" includes that organization.

Separate written agreements, not these Terms, govern any cybersecurity services we deliver (section 6). Where mandatory local law grants you rights these Terms cannot limit, those rights prevail (section 13).

2. License to use the Site

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Site and to view, download, and print its content for your internal business evaluation of Saint Fox and our services. All other rights are reserved. This license does not permit republication, redistribution, or commercial exploitation of Site content without our prior written permission.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Probe, scan, or test the Site or its infrastructure for vulnerabilities, or attempt to bypass any security or authentication measure, without our prior written authorization. We are a security firm; we have a security.txt and welcome coordinated disclosure through it, and that channel is the one authorized route.
  • Interfere with the Site's operation, including by denial of service, flooding, or introducing malicious code.
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect content or data from the Site, including by automated means or for training machine learning models, without written permission.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, including when requesting datasheets or submitting forms.
  • Use the Site to develop a competing service through systematic copying of our materials, frameworks, or methods.
  • Use the Site in violation of applicable law, including export, sanctions, and privacy laws.

We may investigate violations and involve law enforcement where appropriate.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, design, graphics, diagrams, the VIGILE framework materials, datasheets, page code, and their selection and arrangement, are owned by Saint Fox or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws worldwide. The Saint Fox name, the ST FOX wordmark, the fox mark, and VIGILE are trademarks of Saint Fox Inc. Nothing on the Site grants any license to use them, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, except as section 2 allows. Third party marks referenced on the Site belong to their owners; references do not imply endorsement in either direction.

5. Site content is information, with stated limits

The Site describes our capabilities and points of view. Three limits apply, and they are deliberate:

  • It is not professional advice. Nothing on the Site is legal, regulatory, audit, or security advice for your specific situation, and reading it creates no engagement, no client relationship, and no duty of care. Decisions about your environment need an engagement scoped to it.
  • Figures shown in interface mockups are illustrative. Dashboards and panels on the Site carry an "Illustrative" tag where the numbers are examples, and outcome statements describe capability targets, planning estimates, or placeholders, marked as such where they appear. They are not measured results or promises of results.
  • Security content can age. Threats, regulations, and standards change. We refresh material, and each page reflects our view when written, no more.

6. Client engagements are separate

Cybersecurity services, including AI Governance, managed detection and response, platform engineering, and identity services, are delivered exclusively under separately executed agreements: a master services agreement, statements of work, and where relevant a data processing agreement or Business Associate Agreement. Those documents, not these Terms, govern service scope, fees, service levels, liability, and data handling for engagements. Nothing on the Site, including responses to inquiries, constitutes an offer of services capable of acceptance; engagement begins when both parties sign.

7. Datasheets and downloads

Datasheets are made available for your internal evaluation under section 2's license. Access may require email verification, and download allowances may apply. You may share datasheets within your organization with attribution intact; you may not publish them, alter them, or remove notices. We may change, gate, or withdraw any datasheet at any time.

8. Third party links

The Site may link to third party sites, including standards bodies, regulators, and professional profiles. We do not control them, do not endorse their content, and accept no responsibility for them. Your use of a third party site is governed by its terms, and we encourage you to read them.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, and our Cookie Notice covers cookies and similar technologies, including the consent choices available to you. Both are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Site or its hosting environment is free of vulnerabilities or harmful components; you are responsible for your own protective measures, including up-to-date software and appropriate security controls on your devices.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: (a) Saint Fox, its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Site, under any theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility; and (b) our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Site shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100). These limits apply to the free, informational Site only; liability for paid services is addressed in the engagement agreements described in section 6. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or, where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence (section 13).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Saint Fox from claims, damages, and reasonable costs, including attorneys' fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site, except to the extent the claim results from our own breach or misconduct. This section does not apply to consumers where local law prohibits such clauses.

13. Consumer law savings

These Terms do not limit rights that the law does not allow to be limited:

  • Australia: nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or any other right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee may be limited, it is limited to re-supply of the relevant content or service.
  • European Union and United Kingdom: if you deal as a consumer, these Terms do not affect statutory rights, including rights to bring proceedings in your country of residence, and nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • Singapore, India, and elsewhere: exclusions and limits in sections 10 to 12 apply only to the extent permitted by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 (Singapore), the Consumer Protection Act 2019 (India), and equivalent local statutes.
  • United States: some states do not allow exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of certain damages; in those states, sections 10 and 11 apply to the fullest extent permitted.

14. Export controls and sanctions

You may not use the Site or download its content in violation of export control or sanctions laws, including those of the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Australia. You represent that you are not located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction and are not a sanctioned or restricted party.

15. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to contact@stfox.com with the subject "Copyright notice", identifying the work, the allegedly infringing material and its location, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and a statement of accuracy made under penalty of perjury, signed physically or electronically. This process accommodates notices under the US DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512) and equivalent regimes elsewhere. We respond promptly, and we may remove material while we investigate.

16. Suspension and termination of access

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, including the datasheet library, at any time, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or where necessary to protect the Site or others. Sections 4, 5, and 10 through 19 survive termination.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict of laws rules, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware. Placeholder pending counsel review: governing law and venue will be confirmed, and jurisdiction-specific riders added, before these Terms are treated as final. Section 13 preserves any mandatory right you hold to sue or be sued in your home jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through the contact in section 20 for 30 days.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms. The version line at the top moves when we do, and material changes are flagged on the Site. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance; if you do not accept a change, stop using the Site. Changes do not apply retroactively.

19. General terms

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, with the documents they incorporate, are the entire agreement about Site use, superseding prior understandings on that subject.
  • Severability. If a provision is held unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the rest stands.
  • No waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
  • No third party beneficiaries, except as section 11 protects our personnel.
  • Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control.
  • Language. These Terms are drafted in English; translations are for convenience and the English text governs to the extent local law permits.
